Archive of Media Briefing Materials

To facilitate media workers in having a better understanding of the commonly available social and economic statistics thus helping them properly prepare press reports related to statistical matters, the Census and Statistics Department has organised briefings/talks on specific statistical subjects. The target audiences are media workers including editors and reporters. We hope that from these briefings/talks media workers would get a better understanding of the coverage, definition, data collection and data computation methods in respect of specific statistical subjects. This would facilitate them in reporting on official statistics matters.
