Hong Kong Book Fair 2025

With the theme of "Let’s Support 2026 Population Census", an exhibition booth was set up at Hong Kong Book Fair 2025* to raise public awareness of official statistics and promote the work of the Census and Statistics Department.  The exhibition mainly displayed key information of the 2026 Population Census and some major results of past population censuses/by-censuses (Content of panels in PDF format PDF) under four sub-themes, viz. "Demographic Characteristics (excluding foreign domestic helpers)", "2026 Census: New Approach for Better Planning and Development", "Awards Won by the Department in Two Consecutive Rounds of Privacy-Friendly Awards" and "World Statistics Day 2025".

Interactive computer quiz game was developed to enhance the knowledge of visitors on the statistical information concerned.  The exhibition received favourable responses from the public.
