Public Virtual Lecture on “Connecting the World with Data We can Trust”

The Census and Statistics Department jointly organised a public virtual lecture on “Connecting the World with Data We can Trust” on 20 October 2020 with the Education University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Statistical Society and the Education Bureau in celebration of the third World Statistics Day as proclaimed by the United Nations Statistics Division.

Speakers of the lecture included Professor Philip YU of the Education University of Hong Kong, Ms Eva TSUI, former Chief Manager of the Hospital Authority, and Mr Jimmy LIN, Senior Statistician of the Census and Statistics Department.  For brief details of the lecture, please refer to the brochure.

The lecture received favourable responses from teachers and students of tertiary institutions, teachers and students of mathematics and liberal studies in secondary schools, government officials and the general public.
