Professional forums are organised regularly by the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) for professional officers of the Government Statistical Service to foster their professional development. To celebrate the third World Statistics Day as proclaimed by the United Nations Statistics Division, C&SD organised a virtual professional forum on “Quality Assurance of Official Statistics” on 23 October 2020.
The forum covered two topics and they were “Quality Monitoring for the Fieldwork of General Household Survey” and “Survey Design and Enhanced Measures for Enumerating Subdivided Units in the 2021 Population Census”. There were active and fruitful discussions at the forum and valuable views were exchanged among participants.
