Public Virtual Talk on “Science and Technology in the 2021 Population Census”

To celebrate the third World Statistics Day in 2020 as proclaimed by the United Nations Statistics Division, the Census and Statistics Department delivered a public virtual talk on “Science and Technology in the 2021 Population Census” on 19 September 2020.  The speaker, Mr Matthew WONG, Senior Statistician, introduced the application of scientific statistical methodologies in sample design and estimation as well as the adoption of the latest information technology in conducting the 2021 Population Census.  Favourable responses were received from the public.
