Talks on various statistical topics are organised for media practitioners. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of C&SD, Mr H W Fung, Commissioner (centre), held a media tea reception in November 2007 to give a briefing on the evolution of the official statistical system of Hong Kong and the way forward for further development. Showcasing the statistical services rendered by the Department at the exhibition on gCustomer Service Excellenceh in 2002. Encouraging response from members of the public at the exhibition on statistical work for the gServing the Community Festival 2002h. The exhibition on gOutstanding Customer Serviceh to promote a user-based culture of the Department in 2003.
