Statistical Talks for Secondary School Students
The Census and Statistics Department has put in place a programme of statistical talks for secondary school students since the 1993/94 academic year. The talks, delivered by statistical professional officers annually, introduce commonly used statistical methods and official statistics. They aim to promote better understanding as well as proper application and interpretation of official statistics among secondary school students. The following key topics are covered:

Statistical professional officers introduced commonly used statistical methods and official statistics to secondary school students in the statistical talks organised in the 2022/23 academic year.
