Abstract

This annual publication draws together sex disaggregated statistics and indicators from a variety of sources with a view to painting a picture of the situation of women and men in major economic and social spheres, including: demographic characteristics; marriage, fertility and family conditions; education and training characteristics; labour force characteristics; employment earnings; social welfare; medical and health; crime and justice; pattern of participation in public affairs; living arrangement and household characteristics; geographical characteristics; traffic and transport; and time use pattern and pattern of participation in various activities.
