Abstract

The seventh round of THS on IT usage and penetration was conducted during June to August 2006 to collect information on the penetration of personal computer (PC) and Internet among households, and also the utilization of PC, Internet service, electronic business services and electronic Government services among household members. In addition, information on IT security, pattern of playing electronic games and viewing animation programme, views on downloading paid content online and expenditure on purchasing PC and related products / services was also collected in the survey.
