Abstract

This publication is the fifty-second issue in a series of Special Topics Reports. It presents the results of two special topic enquiries conducted via the General Household Survey during April to June 2009 viz. (1) The enquiry "Casual employment" : presenting information on the characteristics and employment situation pertaining to casual employees (i.e. employees who were employed by an employer on a day-to-day basis or for a fixed period of less than 60 days); and (2) The enquiry "Part-time employment" : presenting information on the characteristics and employment situation pertaining to part-time employees.
