Abstract

This publication is the forty-seventh issue in a series of Special Topics Reports. It presents the findings of a special topic enquiry on "Labour mobility" conducted via the General Household Survey during July to September 2006. The enquiry aimed at providing information on the characteristics of (i) entrants into the labour force; (ii) persons who were economically active at the time of enumeration and were outside Hong Kong a year ago; and (iii) leavers from the labour force.
