Abstract

This publication is the forty-second issue in a series of Special Topics Reports. It presents the findings of a special topic enquiry on "Hong Kong residents working in the mainland of China" conducted via the General Household Survey during January to March 2005. The enquiry aimed at providing information on the socio-economic characteristics of Hong Kong residents who had worked in the mainland of China during the twelve months before enumeration and their working conditions in the mainland of China.
