Abstract

The ¡§Thematic Report ¡V Single Parents¡¨ provides a comprehensive range of statistics of single parents in Hong Kong. It goes into some length in analysing the characteristics of single parents: demographic characteristics, education, labour force, household and housing, children aged under 18, and geographical distribution. Comparisons are also made with results of the past population census/by-census.
