Abstract

This publication, based on the results of the 2001 Population Census, provides an insight into the profile of youths aged 15-24 in Hong Kong. Apart from presenting a comprehensive range of statistics of youths in Hong Kong, the publication goes into some length in analyzing the characteristics of youths in such aspects as demographic characteristics, education, labour force, living arrangement and housing, and geographical characteristics. Comparisons are also made with results of the previous population census/by census.
