Abstract

The ¡§Main Report¡¨ consists of two separate volumes: Volume I presents detailed analysis and interpretation of the results of the 2001 Population Census in respect of specific topics on the demographic, household, education, economic and housing characteristics of the population. A general account of findings in respect of various topics is provided together with supporting tables and charts. Comparisons are made with results of the past censuses/by-censuses as appropriate. Volume II describes the design, data collection method and operation procedures of the Census. An assessment of the data quality is also given in Volume II.
