Abstract

This publication presents an updated set of population projections with the mid-2003 population estimates as the population base. The projections have made use of the most up-to-date information on fertility, mortality and movement patterns of the population which has emerged since the last set of population projections was produced. The period of the projections is 30 years. In addition to the projection results, this publication also presents a description of the methodology and assumptions used.
