Abstract

Inbound tourism plays a significant role in the economy of Hong Kong. Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) is an effective statistical method for measuring the economic contribution of tourism and serves as an important basis for calculating its economic effects. This article describes the major results of TSA for Hong Kong's inbound tourism in 2000, 2003 and 2006.
