Abstract

Inbound tourism (I.e. visitors coming to Hong Kong) plays a significant role in the economy of Hong Kong. Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) is an effective statistical method for measuring the economic contribution of tourism and serves as an important base for calculating its economic effects. This article describes the major results of TSA for Hong Kong's inbound tourism in 2000 and 2003.
