Abstract

With the availability of the results of the 2006 Population By-census, the population estimates since 2001, together with other statistics which in the process of their compilation involve the use of population estimates, have been updated. This article presents the revised mortality data series and gives a brief account of the mortality trend in Hong Kong over the period from 1981 to 2006.
