Abstract

This article analyses the performance and structural characteristics of the construction industry during the period from 1994 to 2003. The analyses are based mainly on data collected in the Annual Survey of Building, Construction and Real Estate Sectors. For more detailed analyses on industry structure of the construction industry, reference is also made to statistics from the Quarterly Survey of Construction Output.
