Abstract

Business expectations are views of businessmen on the short-term business performance. Such views are currently collected through the Quarterly Business Tendency Survey conducted by the Census and Statistics Department with the objective of providing a quick reference, with minimum time lag, for assessing the short-term future economic performance of the local economy. This article presents the survey methodology and the uses of the results.
