Abstract

This publication provides a concise annual review of Hong Kong's external merchandise trade performance from 2008 to 2010 and is useful for medium-term analysis of Hong Kong's trade performance. It contains a brief text, graphs and some 50 tables, giving a concise review of Hong Kong's external merchandise trade in the latest year compared with earlier years and bringing together annual statistics (in value terms) and index numbers for Hong Kong's external merchandise trade. This publication is one of the external merchandise trade reports compiled by the Census and Statistics Department. Other trade reports include Hong Kong External Merchandise Trade (monthly), Hong Kong Merchandise Trade Statistics (monthly) and its Annual Supplement (annual), and Hong Kong Merchandise Trade Index Numbers (monthly). These trade reports are each featured in its own way.
