Abstract

This publication aims at presenting statistical indicators to help portrait the development of Hong Kong from different perspectives of a knowledge-based economy (KBE). These statistical indicators are from a variety of data sources and presented in the form of graphs with short descriptions, to facilitate comparison over the past decade. An analytical framework encompassing a suite of statistical indicators grouped into the following four dimensions is adopted in this publication: (a) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) (b) Human Resources Development (c) Innovation System (d) Business Environment
