Abstract

This publication presents up-to-date quarterly statistics on the short-term changes of business receipts of various service industries which help readers grasp the first-hand information on the performance of the service industries. This publication is one of the reports providing statistics on short-term changes from the Census and Statistics Department. Each report covers some selected industries and other reports include Quarterly Index of Industrial Production; Quarterly Textile Production Statistics; Report on Monthly Survey of Retail Sales; and Report on Quarterly Survey of Restaurant Receipts and Purchases. Complementing each other, together they form a comprehensive series of indicators on current performance of different economic sectors of Hong Kong.
