Abstract

This quarterly publication presents up-to-date information on the movement of consumer spending in the restaurants sector. It publishes statistics on total receipts and total purchases of all restaurants as well as statistics on value and volume indices of restaurant receipts by type of restaurant. Moreover, the movement of total restaurant receipts volume in terms of the year-on-year rate of change for a quarter compared with the same quarter in the preceding year based on the original series, and in terms of the rate of change of a quarter compared with the preceding quarter based on the seasonally adjusted series are also presented.
