Abstract

This publication presents quarterly indices on textile production and statistics on employment and quantity of imports of raw materials in the textile industry. Besides the textile industry, production indices of various major manufacturing industry groups are presented in the Quarterly Index of Industrial Production. More detailed statistics on the structure and operating characteristics of the manufacturing industries are presented in the Report on Annual Survey of Industrial Production.
