Obtaining Download Version of Publications and Statistical Tables through the Internet

Users may download publications and statistical tables of the Census and Statistics Department as well as Economic Reports (containing various statistical data series) compiled by the Economic Analysis Division of the Economic Analysis and Business Facilitation Unit under the Financial Secretary's Office free of charge at the "Products and Services" Section of this Website.

Purchase of Print Version of Publications

Purchase through the Internet with Payment Completed Online

Enter the "Government Bookstore" (http://www.bookstore.gov.hk/) of the Information Services Department to purchase print versions of C&SD publications that you desire. Subscription to regular publications is also available. Payments using credit cards (VISA and MasterCard) and PPS are supported. Print versions of the publication(s) purchased will be delivered to you by mail afterwards. Print versions if purchased online are offered a discount, at 85% of their original prices.

Order by Mail with Payment Made by Cheque or Bank Draft (suitable for purchasers who do not prefer online payment)

A mail order form for ordering or subscribing to print versions of publications is available in most of the C&SD's publications. Completed form should be sent back together with a cheque or bank draft covering all necessary cost and postage. The publications ordered will be delivered to you by mail upon receipt of the payment.

Purchase in Person

Print versions of C&SD publications and Economic Reports (containing various statistical data series) compiled by the Economic Analysis Division of the Economic Analysis and Business Facilitation Unit under the Financial Secretary's Office are available for purchase and collection on the spot at the Publications Unit of the Census and Statistics Department at the following address :

The Unit also provides a reading area where users may browse through various publications of the Department and economic reports of the Economic Analysis Division of the Economic Analysis and Business Facilitation Unit under the Financial Secretary's Office on display. Publicity/educational leaflets and pamphlets of the Department are also available for collection. Moreover, users may also access the Department's website and related websites with the computer facilities installed there.

Free statistical data sheets and reference materials promoting better understanding of the scope, definitions and uses of official statistics are available for viewing or downloading on this website. Printed copies can be obtained by sending email to publications@censtatd.gov.hk or in person at enquiry counters of the offices of the Department.
