Census and Statistics Department Library is a departmental library which has been set up to serve the needs of officers of the Department. Apart from keeping a full collection of all publications issued by the Department, it also keeps a rich collection of the following:

		Periodicals/journals/yearbooks issued by international organizations and statistical authorities in other countries/territories
		conference papers and materials
		statistical books and those of other related subjects
		other reference materials

When there is spare capacity, outside readers may be admitted to the Library for reference and research work during the following hours by prior appointment with the librarian at 2582 4812:
