Post Enumeration Survey - The Post Enumeration Survey was completed in early May 2001.
	Data capturing of 2.6 million census questionnaires completed - Data input of 2.2 million Short Forms and 0.4 million Long Forms using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) has been completed.
	Data processing - Editing and validation of the inputted data are in full swing and good progress.
	Data dissemination - To meet the needs of the wide variety of users from both the public and private sectors, a wide range of outputs will be produced from the 2001 Population Census results. These include press releases, publications and CD-ROMs. For details, please see the note "2001 Population Census : Dissemination of Results".
