Abstract
:
Hong Kong does not have any natural reserves of energy. Supply of different forms of primary energy (e.g. coal and oil products) is entirely from external sources. A substantial share of primary energy is converted into secondary energy such as electricity and gas for final consumption. This article summarizes the developments related to the supply and demand of energy in Hong Kong during 1992 to 2002.
